Most Precious Lord, please hear me.
I keep running out of patience, hoping my son and daughter-in-law will cease keeping my grandchildren from me and adding more and more resentment and vindictive hatred to their feelings toward me, as well as turning other family members against me not to mention my grandchildren. They have even refused to allow me to give them their Christmas presents or contact them in any way - discarding or giving away anything I send as my effort to make amends. It is the ancient struggle between mother-in-law and son's threatened and insecure wife and it is most harmful for the children, 10 and 13, who I miss like I had lost an arm. I pray and I await a change of heart (that won't happen, she enjoys her controlling power), and I try to keep busy but I'm asking for help for the children's sake! I want nothing from them but I want to hug my grandchildren and see their faces again. Can this be healed? Amen.

"Free will is a powerful gift that needs to be treated with great responsibility. Unfortunately your son and daughter-in-law are not considering everyone involved in this situation, mostly their children. There is nothing I can directly do to make them change the way they feel toward you, however I am working to open their eyes more with hope that they will both be able to forgive you. Until this happens, I would like you to meditate and send your son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren all the love energy that you can. This will help the children feel as if you are close and it will aid in the opening of their parents' eyes."

"Yes, and you have the ability to help him. Simply imagine a bright emerald green light streaming from the palms of your hands and fill your son with this energy. This will be good practice for you when the time comes for you to heal someone in great need."

"Everyone on the planet has free will and you cannot change the free will of others. If you remain on you path and continue moving forward with good intentions I will work with you and your family. Names are not terribly important here in Heaven. If you ever want to communicate with your angels all you have to do is say 'Angels please help' and they will be there with you."

After 26 years of marriage, my husband and I were divorced. We hava a 22 year old daughter. We've been divorced 4 years. My questions are will I ever find love again and will I be in a better financial situation than I am now? Also will my daughter and her father's relationship improve in the future?

Answer from God through David:

"You will find love again, but there are a few things you need to work on before you will find your soul mate. You mainly need to heal from your divorce, and once you are healed, you need to give your relationship with your ex-husband to me. In doing so, you will show me that you will be ready for love again. You will be in a better financial situation in the future, but it revolves around you finding what it is that you love in life, and allowing yourself to work somewhere that incorporates what you love. The relationship between your daughter and her father can improve, but both of them have to want a relationship with one another. Until they both decide they want the relationship, nothing will change."

Dear God,
I love my two boys ages 26 and 24 so much but worry so about them. I don't know if they will get their lives on track and be successful in life, love and work. I have tried to be supportive and helpful and am not sure I am doing the right things or if I am making things worse for them. Please provide some insight. Also, my biological dad is recently diaganosed with cancer. Will treatment be possible? He is very depressed and a grumpy person and has been for sometime.
Lately I feel I have done so much for others that I'm feeling worn out. I know family depends on me but sometimes I feel over whelmed.

"Your sons are on their own paths, they are moving forward and it is time for you to take a step back and watch them flourish. I am currently working with your father’s energy and he has the opportunity to be healed, all he has to do is ask for it. As for your own energy, know that you have raised your children to the best of your abilities and that you too are moving forward on your path. Just sit back and enjoy the peace."

"This will be the cause of your death. Do not be afraid for you will find peace. I will be here with you throughout the process and you will be free of pain."

About the rules of Project Ask God:

It is really within the heart of this Project, to answer as many diverse questions from as many different people or groups of people as possible. The soul of this project was to allow everyone a single question and answer, at no charge for my time.

I've been made aware of the office groups that discuss the questions and the answers and do this daily. Namaste. Please keep this going. If you haven't shared the Project with your friends, please consider doing so. Make this a topic of discussion with your families and your friends. Grow together. Come up with questions together. As this project evolves, the questions received spread into many different veins. Recently we've received questions dealing with direct personal gain. Those questions are not for this venue. God will not give out the winning lottery numbers, the stock to buy or sell, nor will he answer the questions regarding sports players or teams on which to wager; you get the idea. The answers to these questions can be found in your own meditations. My family and I are full supporters of the principles of the laws of attraction and believe that everything is possible. Get a copy of "The Secret". Watch it often. Discuss it with your own family and friends. Live with gratitude that the cup is at least half full. Literally count your blessings and allow them to multiply. It was Henry Ford that said; "Whether you think you can or can't, you are right."

We launched Project: Ask God on September 6, 2007. This week the 570th question was answered and we've had over 25,200 site hits. Thank you all!

Please know that I'll do my very best to answer every single question as soon as I possibly can, but please be patient. The response has been nearly overwhelming.

Most questions come in as asked by "anonymous" and this is good as the answers come to me freely and have no human attachments. By attachments, I mean that I have no feelings attached to the questions - so that when I present them to God, I have no personal human investment in the answers. If I can take myself - my human ego - out of the questions, the answers come more freely and easily and I believe more purely. Some questions come in with a first name, or a first name and an initial; this too is fine especially if I don't know the questioner. Some questioners have bent the rules and asked several questions AND identified themselves by their first and last name, or last initial. If you feel the need to bend the rules, please do so anonymously as God knows who you are and as stated above, I shouldn't. If you want to ask multiple and / or related questions, please book a reading. In a reading your questions can have complete answers and the true heart of Project: Ask God will continue to beat in the way in which the Project was intended. Multiple questions or linked questions from the same identified questioner will no longer be posted and therefore not answered. Get a friend to ask your question instead, get more people involved. Please know that just the act of asking, prompts God's attention. God works instantaneously. It takes me a few weeks longer. How "Ask God" came to be:

Connie, an employee of my mother's, mentioned the project by Frank Warren, "Post Secret" in the office one day. We had not heard of it. She brought in a copy of his first book and we sat one summer afternoon and poured through it over lunch. It is a very powerful project and if you haven't heard of it or read about it, please do so. www.postsecret.com. We all heal from the thought that this project brings about.

The idea came to us almost at the same time: what if we could do something along these lines - and allowed it to address the constant criticism that I'm given about charging money for giving out the word of God. As we believe all really great ideas come from God, we asked him; "If we offered an Ask God blog, would You answer the questions?" Answer: "Yes."
