I was wanting to know if we are doing the right thing with our son. ;he has come to live with us with the goal of staying clean and sober and getting his life on track. Many peo;e feel that we are enabling him but we have not helped him before in this way and feel that our home is safe and will help with his spiritual growth.

Answer from God through David:

"Allowing your son in is helping him stay sober, but you must keep a close eye on him. Also, what you want for him and what he wants for himself might be different things. He has the free will to do as he pleases, and while you can guide him toward making the right decisions, they are ultimately his decisions to make. Continue to show your love for him and continue to be patient with him. It will take a long time for him to break his habits, but with your assistance, he will have the chance to change his life for the better."

on 3/15/07 someone i cared for very much toke her life... it hurt more then i can say ..it still hurts she was a very wonderful person ... i heard that taking your own life is a sin ..this hurts evem more ..and i pray for her and us who she left behind with this pain ...i just want to know that she is alright?

"Although she took her life over a year ago, I heard your prayers and she is safe and free of pain here in Heaven. You have nothing to worry about and I would like you to know that you helped her get to Heaven."

I have been a wife and mom for 16 years. Now I'm looking into starting a career. What career would suit my personality best and also do the most good for those around me? Also I have a daughter who is disabled. We moved her into a residential home last fall, and I'd like to know if we will ever have the opportunity to bring her back home to live within our family again. Are her angels taking good care of her?

Answer from God through Brian:

"Your daughter is safe and one day you will be able to bring her home, but the time is not right. As for your career I would like you to find something in your life that brings you great joy and peace. There are no restrictions with this activity that brings you joy and do not over think its career possibilities. Once you have found this, leave the rest to me and I will show you how to make it a reality."

Brian,about 12 years ago a friend of mine was in a car accident and died,I always felt that I never got a chance to get toknow her very well, she was a person that my kids always visited and she knew I was their mom,after she died I always wondered where she is,her name is Melissa (last name),I go to church, but I wonder if her spirit is in heaven,or with her husband,or mom. You know she was such a beautiful women,I need to know where she is can you see her?

"Melissa is here in Heaven and she is safe and free of pain. She is very happy and would love to reconnect with you. If you would like to see her again and communicate with her once again, all you have to do is meditate and call to her. She will come to you and you will be able to feel her energy again."

I have been at the same job for over 10 years, but now the company is going out of business. I would really like to shift careers, but have 2 daughters to support and am nervous about taking the time to look for something different rather than making an easier lateral move. Will God help me to find a more rewarding position? Thanks for any insight.

MY WIFE PASSED WAY THIS PAST AUGUST AFTER 6 DAYS IN THE HOSPITAL, I FOUND HER ON THE BED AS IF ASLEEP BUT NO BREATH AND NO HART BEAT, THE PARAMEDICS RESTORED MINIMUM HART FUNCTION BUT NEEDED AIR ASSIST, AS THE NEXT 6 DAYS PASSED IT BECAME CLEAR THAT SHE WOULD NEVER AGAIN BE AWAKE OR TRULY SELF SUPPORTIVE, SO I HAD TO LET HER PASS ON. NO FURTHER MECHANICAL SUPPORT. I NEED TO KNOW IF SHE SUFFERED OR FELT ANY PAIN AT ANY TIME DURING THE 6 DAY HELL. YOU SEE, I NEED TO SEE HER,AND HOLD HER AGAIN WHEN I PASS AND UNTIL THEN BE AT PEACE THAT SHE IS OK NOW AND FELT NO AGONY GETTING TO WHERE SHE IS NOW.

About the rules of Project Ask God:

It is really within the heart of this Project, to answer as many diverse questions from as many different people or groups of people as possible. The soul of this project was to allow everyone a single question and answer, at no charge for my time.

I've been made aware of the office groups that discuss the questions and the answers and do this daily. Namaste. Please keep this going. Literally count your blessings and allow them to multiply. It was Henry Ford that said; "Whether you think you can or can't, you are right."

Please know that I'll do my very best to answer every single question as soon as I possibly can, but please be patient. The response has been nearly overwhelming.

Most questions come in as asked by "anonymous" and this is good as the answers come to me freely and have no human attachments. By attachments, I mean that I have no feelings attached to the questions - so that when I present them to God, I have no personal human investment in the answers. If I can take myself - my human ego - out of the questions, the answers come more freely and easily and I believe more purely. Some questions come in with a first name, or a first name and an initial; this too is fine especially if I don't know the questioner. Some questioners have bent the rules and asked several questions AND identified themselves by their first and last name, or last initial. If you feel the need to bend the rules, please do so anonymously as God knows who you are and as stated above, I shouldn't. How "Ask God" came to be:

Connie, an employee of my mother's, mentioned the project by Frank Warren, "Post Secret" in the office one day. We had not heard of it. She brought in a copy of his first book and we sat one summer afternoon and poured through it over lunch. It is a very powerful project and if you haven't heard of it or read about it, please do so. www.postsecret.com. We all heal from the thought that this project brings about.

The idea came to us almost at the same time: what if we could do something along these lines - and allowed it to address the constant criticism that I'm given about charging money for giving out the word of God. As we believe all really great ideas come from God, we asked him; "If we offered an Ask God blog, would You answer the questions?" Answer: "Yes."
